General Manager

direct 480.248.2025, achippindall@hotelvalleyho.com

Born in Melbourne, Andrew began and developed his career in hospitality in various properties throughout Australia. His tenure in London with TrustHouse Forte led him to a ski resort in Austria, where he spent six years refining his management skills. Next, Andrew worked as Director of Rooms in Bintan Lagoon, Indonesia. This depth in hospitality experience brought him back to Australia, where he served on the Sydney Organizing Committee for the 2000 Olympic Games. Because he felt his life needed to become more exciting, he met his wife and moved to America. He first worked with Westroc at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain, and now manages the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. A devoted snowboarder and fan of all things in the winter, Andrew is eagerly awaiting Scottsdale's first snowfall of the season.

Hotel Valley Ho was cool back in 1956 when it first opened its doors. Before downtown Scottsdale was downtown. It's every bit as chic now, after an expansive but meticulously groomed 2005 renovation.

This mid-century landmark is the evolution of cool with posh, playful rooms and suites, fab fare at ZuZu and Trader Vic's, and VH Spa for Vitality and Health. The hotel is a favorite choice for art buffs, as it is centrally located in downtown Scottsdale, just a stroll away from renowned art galleries and popular Scottsdale artwalks.

The Tower offers spacious one- and two-bedroom Tower Suites with complete kitchens and generously-sized Tower Signature guest rooms located in a seven story tower. Here the rooms are designed as light, bright and fanciful havens with sweeping panoramic views, and every guest is afforded VIP status.
