Main Street in Scottsdale, Arizona. <p>Originally a hideaway for Bogart, Bing and Marilyn, this downtown Scottsdale urban resort hotel once again features rooms with all-glass walls opening onto airy patios. New enhancements include the VH Spa for workouts overlooking the pool, music and massage in private cabanas, and dining at Cafe ZuZu, Trader Vic's, and the poolside Oh Pool Bar + Cabanas. <p>The 194 guest rooms feature numerous amenities, including a glass wall opening onto a private patio or balcony, private bar and morning bar, 24-hour room service, high-speed internet, flat screen plasma TV, Terrazzo tile baths with an oversize tub and separate shower behind translucent walls. Six rooms are suites with immense patios even larger than the room. Eleven are cabana rooms with a curtained patio overlooking the pool. Twenty-one are romance rooms, with a sensuous bathtub for two. <p>Hotel Valley Ho offers many ways enjoy your stay. The Spa at Valley Ho includes treatment rooms and private yoga-Pilates studios, a 24/7 fitness studio with mountain views, and locker rooms with steam and relaxation lounges. Hotel Valley Ho was cool back in 1956 when it first opened its doors. Before downtown Scottsdale was downtown. It's every bit as chic now, after an expansive but meticulously groomed 2005 renovation.

This mid-century landmark is the evolution of cool with posh, playful rooms and suites, fab fare at ZuZu and Trader Vic's, and VH Spa for Vitality and Health.
