Brand new, and then again not-so-new, the Valley Ho was a landslide winner for Most Anticipated New Hotel due to its originality and personality even though it didn't fully reopen until December 20. A Scottsdale landmark since the 50's, the Valley Ho has recently seen a complete renovation that still manages to keep the historic feeling and retro vibe of this popular mid-century hangout. The architecture remains completely true to its roots, while new elements like the spa, gym, and pool are welcome additions to the hotel. Of course the guest suites were stripped of all things old and refreshed with white linens, a really funky bathroom and flat-screen TVs. Valley Ho offers visitors a stylish way to stay in Scottsdale, but also gives the city's natives a new place to be proud of, as well as a new place to chill.
