Scottsdale, AZ -- Hotel Valley Ho, the hip mid-century modern landmark in Scottsdale, has been honored with the AAA Four Diamond Award for 2007. The hotel is the newest hotel in Scottsdale to be given the AAA Four Diamond Award for their high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

"We are so honored to be recognized with the AAA Four Diamond Award," said Andrew Chippindall, Hotel Valley Ho's General Manager. "It's a wonderful compliment to our dedicated and hard-working employees and a great acknowledgement of the experience we set out to create for our guests following our renovation of this Scottsdale landmark."

AAA's Four Diamond Award recognizes hotels and resorts that are upscale in all areas and that are refined and stylish. The hallmark of properties in this category include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

Hotel Valley Ho is a marriage of moderns: classic mid-century modern architecture and modern amenities, like complimentary wireless internet access throughout the entire property, large flatscreen televisions in all guest rooms and spacious bright bathrooms with soaking tubs in the Studio rooms. The hotel also features the VH (Vitality and Health) Spa which has been recognized by the country's top travel magazines as one of the best new spas to open this year; Cafe Zuzu, serving all-American comfort food with a modern twist under the direction of Chef Charles Wiley; and the reintroduction to Scottsdale of Trader Vic's, the iconic home of mai tais and pupu platters, in a new location at the hotel.

Hotel Valley Ho celebrates its 50th anniversary on December 20, 2006. Reopened in December 2005 following an $80 million renovation, this 194 room urban retreat has been a resting stop for Bing Crosby, Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood, Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, Jaime Foxx, Jane Seymour and countless weekday road warriors and weekend visitors.
